Gemälde aus dem Besitz von Paula Bößler (geb. 1907), sie putzte einmal die Woche bei Gustav Ernst. Ihr Schwiegervater war Jakob Bößler, der Blinde Geiger von der Limburg. Paula Bößler hat von Gustav Ernst jedes Jahr zu Weihnachten ein Bild geschenkt bekommen.
